          The Georgia Association of dermatovenereologists cares about the development of the continuing
education system, deepening the professional knowledge of doctors in the field, strengthening and
improving the skills.
The association organizes international congresses, holds conferences, thematic seminars, workshops,
discussions and other activities.
In 2014, with the support of the Association, the residency program "Dermato-Venereology" was
created and approved (Duration - 3 years - 33 months) -https://www.moh.gov.ge/ka/538/
Where, at the initiative of the association,in accordance with world standards,extensive teaching of
dermatosurgery,dermatocosmetology, oncodermatology and dermatopathology issues was included in
the teaching of Dermato-Venereologists. Due to these changes, Dermato-veneology changed its
therapeutic profile and became an independent specialty.

- The scalp Mycoses protocol for managing (author Prof.Th.Kituashvili, Prof.Kh.Kudava)
- Urticaria protocol(author Prof.Th.Ebanoidze)

The Georgia Association of dermatovenereologists prepared and presented
Short courses of retraining of Dermato-Venereologists in
dermatocosmetology,podology,dermatosurgery for approval in the Ministry of Health.
In order to improve scientific research-based education and research skills, the association members are
involved in international scientific-research.All studies serve to address the issues of improving patient
management and disease prevention.
In 2015 the Georgia Association of dermatovenereologists together with Javakhishvili State
University,he created and published Atlas of Dermatology and Venereology in Georgian language for the
first time in Georgia.
In 2022, with the joint support of the Association of dermatovenerologists of Georgia and the Georgian
dermoscopy Association, the Explanatory Dictionary of dermoscopy in Georgian was published and
published for the first time in Georgia.
