Non-commercial (non-commercial) legal entity "Georgian Association ofDermatovenereologists ", which started functioning at the address of s/rInstitute of dermatovenereology as the successor of the GeorgianDermatovenereologists scientific society, which was founded in 1993 andwhich over the years headed by academician Luba Shetsiruli.Members of the society, who are the heirs of the great traditions that theInstitute of skin and venereal diseases has created during its 90 years ofexistence, actively participate in the improvement of the Dermato-venereological service.In July 2006, Scientific society of Dermatovenereologists of Tbilisi inBatumi by the decision of the general meeting of the society, changed itsname and was founded as the Georgian Association ofDermatovenereologists.Since September 2010, the association has continued to operate non-profit(Non-profit) legal entity on behalf of " Georgian Association ofDermatovenereologists ",during its existence, it has held more than 60scientific-practical conferences,as in Tbilisi, as well as in different regions ofthe Republic, three of these are accreditedGeorgian Association of Dermatovenereologists systematically participatesInternational scientific – practical School of medics-conference seminars,as well as actively cooperates with many international organizations, inparticular, the International Union against Sexually Transmitted Infections(IUSTI),the European Academy of dermatovenereologists(EADV),the InternationalLeague of Dermatologists (ILDS) and others.He has held more than 60 conferences, including those of Worldimportance:September 23-25, 2010, 25th iusti Europe congres, TbilisiOctober 4-6, 2012. 4th World Congress of teledermatology.Tbilisi.June 24-26, 2016. 17th meeting of the European Hair Research Society, "SOME CASES OF CUTIS VERTICIS GYRATA", TbilisiSeptember 29-OCTOBER 01, 2022.35th IUSTI - Europe congres-TbilisiMembers of the Association actively participate in various humanitarianactions, in particular, mass medical examinations of the population, as wellas activelyThey cooperate with colleagues from foreign countries (Azerbaijan,Armenia, Israel,Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, France, Holland, Kazakhstan,Uzbekistan, Turkey, Poland, Germany, United Kingdom, USA, Sweden,Norway, Estonia).For active cooperation, some of them have been accepted as honorarymembers of the association.The association has its own printed body: the journal " News Caucasiandermatology and Venereology”, which is published in Russian-Englishlanguages.
